Superbowl 45: Running Commentary

I'm watching the Superbowl and the commercials of course. When the dancers lit up at the half-time show, my friend John Runner said "Well, now everyone's going to blog about this." so I thought I would!

I know there are real Packers fans out there, but I'm convinced that the majority of people rooting for the Packers today are doing it for one of two reasons: they're tired of Steelers winning Superbowls or they feel bad for the underdogs who haven't won for 13 years.

I hope people don't give Christina to bad of a time for her anthem mistake. As someone who had sung the anthem for local events, it's nerve racking and that very mistake is the easiest one to make. I'm not a Christina fan, but I would feel terrible. This isn't the time for media/social networking folks to attack...

I've never thought that Fergie was exceptional live, but I do like the Black Eyed Peas a little. She did, however, do a good job on Sweet Child of Mine...great impersonation! Considering the light up dancers...best half-time show I think I've ever seen. I do have an answer to their question, "where is the love?" IT ALL WENT ONTO YOUR HALF-TIEME SHOW! LED suits? Very expensive. They wouldn't have to ask Obama to educate the children if they didn't waste so much money on entertainment.

I love that Usher was wearing the same high tops that my husband wore today...I must be married to a pretty trendy dude.

OH MY GOSH! Our friends kid just jumped in front of the tv and we lost the feed! So we made him do it again the opposite way just for fun and it came back lol.

The 6G commercial with Ozzy and Justin Beiber was good but only because they called him a girl.

The Brisk commercial with Eminem wasn't worth their money, the Chrysler Detroit one wasn't as bad...

The Hundai commercial was dumb considering they aired commercials for their commercial earlier in the week.

I am excited for all of the Marvel movies coming out. I wish they would do a Movie about DC's The Flash :)

Ah, the Commercial about the Camaro with the teacher was good.

Wait, was that a commercial for Glee or a Chevy Cruze?

Oh sad, the Packers won.
